\"outters-nicolas\"La TEC140 et la Proline 16803 ont parl\u00e9 ! j’aime bien cette image car elle refl\u00e8te la maturit\u00e9 du traitement que j’ai r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 acqu\u00e9rir apr\u00e8s quelques ann\u00e9es d’exp\u00e9rience.
\nCette image a \u00e9t\u00e9 l’occasion de ne pas regretter l’acquisition du filtre OIII Astrodon en 3 nm, la diff\u00e9rence est bien r\u00e9elle avec beaucoup moins de gradient compar\u00e9 au 5 nm, la PL ne passe plus \"\"<\/p>\n

Je vous conseille fortement la version full qui reste un r\u00e9gal pour moi lorsque je traverse ce champs \u00e9norme.
\nCette n\u00e9buleuse est vraiment splendide et toutes ces taches d’encre sont vraiment fantastiques.
\nLa zone en bas \u00e0 droite me laisse sans voix.
\nTr\u00e8s peu de traitement d’accentuation sur cette image, les brutes \u00e9taient assez bonnes pour des poses unitaires de 30 minutes, la FWHM allait de 2,4 \u00e0 4 mais une belle s\u00e9rie proche de 2,4 s’est fait sur le Halpha d’o\u00f9 une luminance superbe qui r\u00e9v\u00e8le des d\u00e9tails sympas.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The Elephant’s Trunk nebula<\/b> is a concentration of interstellar<\/a> gas and dust within the much larger ionized gas region IC 1396 located in the constellation Cepheus<\/a> about 2,400 light years<\/a> away from Earth.[1]<\/a><\/sup> The piece of the nebula<\/a> shown here is the dark, dense globule IC 1396A; it is commonly called the Elephant’s Trunk nebula because of its appearance at visible light wavelengths, where there is a dark patch with a bright, sinuous rim. The bright rim is the surface of the dense cloud that is being illuminated and ionized by a very bright, massive star (HD 206267<\/a>) that is just to the west of IC 1396A. (In the Figure above, the massive star is just to the left of the edge of the image.) The entire IC 1396 region is ionized by the massive star, except for dense globules that can protect themselves from the star’s harsh ultraviolet rays.<\/p>\n

The Elephant’s Trunk nebula is now thought to be a site of star formation, containing several very young (less than 100,000 yr) stars that were discovered in infrared images in 2003. Two older (but still young, a couple of million years, by the standards of stars<\/a>, which live for billions of years) stars are present in a small, circular cavity in the head of the globule. Winds from these young stars may have emptied the cavity.<\/p>\n

The combined action of the light from the massive star ionizing and compressing the rim of the cloud, and the wind from the young stars shifting gas from the center outward lead to very high compression in the Elephant’s Trunk nebula. This pressure has triggered the current generation of protostars.[2]<\/a><\/sup>[<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n
